EV ChargePlus 80A Tesla to SAE J1772 Adapter

The Type 1 Tesla SAE J1772 Adapter allows any Tesla Model 3, S, or X to charge using a Type 1 (J1772) EV charging plug. Compatible with most Level 2 public charging stations, it supports charging speeds up to 19.2 kW.

 How to use:

We recommend using the following steps:

1. Plug in the SAE J1772 end of the adapter to the charging station cable.

2. Plug in the Tesla end of the adapter to the EV’s charging socket.

3. After the adapter has clicked in place, you are ready for charging.

When charging is complete, disconnect the vehicle side first, followed by the charging station side. Remove the adapter from the charging cable and store it.

How to store:

The charging adapter is the lifeline of your electric vehicle, and it is essential to keep it protected. Store the adapter in a dry place, preferably a storage bag. Moisture in the contacts will result in the cable not working. Suppose this happens place the cable in a warm and dry place for 24 hours. Avoid leaving the cable outside where the sun, wind, dust, and rain can get to it. Dust and dirt will result in the cable not charging.
